The CPI in August 2025 was 110.14(2021=100) which increased by 0.45% from the preceding month and rose by 1.74% compared with the same month in 2024.

Introduce percent change compared with the preceding month of 7 categories as follows:

1. Food group increased by 1.78%.

2. Clothing group decreased by 1.10%.

3. Housing group increased by 0.11%.

4. Transportation and Communication group increased by 0.06%.

5. Health group decreased by 0.08%.

6. Education & Entertainment group decreased by 0.16%.

7. Miscellaneous group increased by 0.10%.

The CCI was 112.08(2021=100) which increased by 0.26% from the preceding month and rose by 0.05% compared with the same month in 2024.
