The CPI in May 2024 was 107.37(2021=100) which increased by 0.10% from the preceding month and rose by 2.29% compared with the same month in 2023.

Introduce percent change compared with the preceding month of 7 categories as follows:

1. Food group increased by 0.30%.

2. Clothing group increased by 0.72%.

3. Housing group increased by 0.51%.

4. Transportation and Communication group decreased by 0.09%.

5. Health group decreased by 0.09%.

6. Education & Entertainment group decreased by 0.93%.

7. Miscellaneous group increased by 0.01%.

The CCI was 112.13(2021=100) which increased by 0.47% from the preceding month and rose by 2.85% compared with the same month in 2023.
