The CPI in October 2023 was 106.77(2021=100) which increased by 0.22% from the preceding month and rose by 3.11% compared with the same month in 2022.

Introduce percent change compared with the preceding month of 7 categories as follows:

1. Food group increased by 0.66%.

2. Clothing group increased by 8.07%.

3. Housing group decreased by 0.97%.

4. Transportation and communication group decreased by 0.45%.

5. Health group increased by 0.07%.

6. Education & Entertainment group increased by 0.63%.

7. Miscellaneous group decreased by 0.96%.

The CCI was 109.57(2021=100) which increased by 0.23% from the preceding month and rose by 0.90% compared with the same month in 2022.
